What I'm doing now

Last updated: January 2026

Working on

I started a new job as a Digital Accessibility Delivery Lead in mid-2025, and I've been enjoying learning from experts in the field and learning more about how large scale organizations manage accessibility. I've also enjoyed stepping back into an individual contributor role. I loved formally leading others, but this works well for the current phase of my life.

I'm maintaining the UX Research Directory and Design Review Notes plugin (which recently surpassed 100 users!)

I am currently writing a book on incorporating resiliency into UX design practices. The process has been challenging but rewarding.

Hobbies

I've been diving into crafts, like beadwork to help with mindfulness and creativity.

Media

  • Reading: I've been reading a lot of technical books during the book writing process, so the list is long. Otherwise, trying to get through Listen for the Lie
  • Watching: Traitors!!
  • Playing: Just starting Hades II, and my husband recently got me into WoW

About this page

This page is inspired by nownownow.com, a directory of people's "now" pages. It's a way to share what I'm currently focused on without maintaining a personal blog.
